Let’s get metabolic medication covered for Californians who need it. California removed weight management medications (GLP-1’s) from Medi-Cal Rx coverage at the start of this year, despite these treatments being a strong preventative tool against not just obesity, but also fatty liver disease, heart disease and diabetes. Without affordable access, many individuals risk regaining weight and losing the health benefits they have achieved.

We need you to send a message to the Governor’s Office on behalf of all those affected by these cuts: GLP-1’s are life-saving treatments and Californians deserve affordable and equitable access to them. Will you write a letter to Gavin Newsom to share your story and advocate for GLP-1 access?
